System Administration

Server Room and General Support:

·Provide ongoing System Administration, maintenance andsupport of local and remote servers

·Identify and address future needs to maintainoperational readiness

·Provide hardware, networking and software support ofHigh Performance Computing (HPC) server and desktops

·Work with vendors to install patches and upgrades.

·Coordinate and elevate issues to Global IT to supportlocal site needs

·Understand the unique needs of each site from modelingcomputers to large data storage

·Ability to make decisions on networking – ports and distribution.

·Troubleshoot and resolve storage issues.

·Coordinate with desk-side support and specialengineering software admin

Lab Hardware and Software Support:
