System Administrator

JTSEC is a cybersecurity laboratory part of Applus based in Granada.

We are JTSEC , part of Applus+ Laboratories, the division of the Applus+ Group specialized in testing, certification, and product development engineering services.

We are a cybersecurity laboratory based in Granada, made up of a team of well-recognized professionals in the information security sector, with international reach and clients such as McAfee, Sophos, and Stormshield, among others, and collaborating with organizations and institutions such as ENISA, CCN, EuroSmart, CEN, ISO, and UNE.

We are looking for an IT Administrator to join our team and support the day-to-day management and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with cybersecurity experts, contributing to the security, stability, and continuous improvement of our networks and systems, while providing internal IT support.

This role is ideal for professionals who want to grow in a cybersecurity-oriented environment , with hands-on exposure to real security challenges and continuous learning opportunities.

What will you do in jtsec?
Manage and maintain IT systems and infrastructure on a daily basis
Support and improve the security of networks and systems
Provide internal IT support to a team of cybersecurity professionals
Participate in infrastructure and security improvement projects

What do we value for this position?
Degree or vocational training in IT Systems Administration, Computer Engineering, or related fields
Proficient level of English (spoken and written)

+3 years of Experience in networking and server administration, including:
Installation, configuration, and management of switches, firewalls, access points, and other network equipment in corporate environments
Strong understanding of network security principles (segmentation, authentication, access control, etc.) and network protocols
Experience administering Windows and Linux servers and workstations in medium-to-large environments with multiple users
Experience with system virtualization technologies (VMware, Proxmox, or similar)
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, LXC, and Kubernetes
Task automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar)

Nice to have
Cybersecurity knowledge is highly valued
Cybersecurity-related certifications are a strong plus
