System Administrator

**Job Description**
BAE Systems is seeking an IT System Administrator to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system. Detail oriented with a commitment to learning how to use and administer new tools and technologies are important traits we expect the successful candidate to possess and demonstrate. Work is full-time on-site at Washington Navy Yard.

This position is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. In this position you will:

+ Monitor, troubleshoot, and evaluate access and performance issues on SSP networks
+ Manage and plan server requirements for the program
+ Build, harden, and deploy servers in accordance with specified requirements
+ Troubleshoot issues with Windows Server Operating Systems
