The successful candidate will be involved in the software development life cycle including application development, implementation, maintenance and post-implementation review. The broad spectrum of the role includes the following

Job Description

• understand the business function, develops, codes, tests and debugs software to enhance existing the effectiveness of the application
• analyze existing systems
• translate business requirements into highly specified project briefs
• identify technical solutions and assess them for technical and business suitability
• draw up specific proposals for modified or replacement systems
• produce project feasibility reports
• present proposals
• work with other developers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
• liaise with vendors or internal clients
• write user manuals
• train users

Qualifications

• degree in Computer or Information Science or related discipline
• fresh graduate may apply
• proficient in Unix
• strong in analytical skills and skilled in software development
• good communication skills
• team player
• possess can-do attitude, initiative, creativity and able to work under pressure
