System Developer

System Developer for NetNordic’s Growing SOC Platform Team!

We are looking for a System Developer to join NetNordic’s skilled and ambitious SOC Platform team. You will work closely with talented developers, system engineers, and administrators who design and maintain critical data system infrastructures for our SOC services.

In this role, you will help develop our rapidly expanding, automated, scalable, and secure Private Cloud environment. Your development work won’t be limited to the environment alone — we also want to support your professional growth. We work with open‑source solutions, internally developed technologies, as well as both well‑known and more niche tools. What matters most to us is openness, passion, and the ability to learn new things.

Location: Turku, Finland (hybrid work with flexibility for remote work)
Type: Full‑time, permanent employment

What We Expect:

• Strong Linux expertise
• Experience with various virtualization and storage solutions
• Understanding of search and analytics engines (e.g., Apache Solr, Elasticsearch, Algolia, Sphinx, etc.)
• Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, LXC, etc.)
• Experience working with very large document databases
• Familiarity with system automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack, etc.)
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Passing the security clearance required by the authorities

Considered an Advantage:

• Basic programming skills
• Database design competence
• Understanding of secure development principles
• Experience in system administration, system development, and teamwork
