Shape and sustain critical Defence ICT systems, solve complex technical challenges, and work at senior engineering level in a high-assurance environment.

Scope of Task

The Defence Directorate sustains and evolves deployed ICT capabilities critical to ADF operational effectiveness. This includes the engineering, security, sustainment, and incident management of deployed networks and environments such as the Deployable Information Environment (DIE), Fleet Information Environment (FIE/FIS), and Mission Partner Environment (MPE), spanning over 400 nodes and 800 single access terminals.

The Directorate also delivers and supports key Defence capabilities including ARISON and C2Chat, ensuring secure, reliable, and resilient ICT services beyond the reach of Defence Strategic Networks through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
