Roles and Responsibilities

Required Exposure:

  • Vehicle network design and planning for creating the communication matrix for the vehicle.
  • Exposure to decomposing high level requirements into product features and software compositions.
  • Overall understanding of CAN.
  • Ability to interpret network traffic logs and draw operational inferences to suggest requirement changes.
  • System level understanding of vehicle operation to arrive at fault trees.
  • Usage of fault trees to identify high – level diagnostic requirements for faults and corresponding measurement parameters.
  • Formulation of vehicle specific End – Of – Line requirements based on vehicle functions.
  • Exposure to embedded software SDLC, starting from concept development and creation of requirements and project plans.
  • Adept at usage of MS – Excel with VBA scripts.
  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools (SVN/GIT), defect tracking tools, and peer review
