Scope:

  • The Desktop Support Engineer provides frontline technical support to end users across the organization, ensuring reliable operation of desktop systems, laptops, peripherals, and collaboration tools. This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to ITG standards, security requirements, and service-level expectations.`

  • Our current technical environment:

  • Hardware/Software: HP, Dell, Lenovo, Apple. Windows 11, office 365, Outlook, teams

  • Applications : Oracle, perforce, JDK, QuickBooks, JIRA, Workday

  • Cloud Architecture : MS Azure, Azure AD, Intune, Defender, Entra, Exchange 365, Vmware

  • Network/Others : Palo Alto, Ruckus, Cisco, Schneider

  • What you’ll do:

  • Provide end to end IT support for all India office users physically and remotely.

  • Develops and maintains entire IT Infrastructure.

  • Work on various responsibilities other than desktop support like networking, VMware, Azure, Intune, office 365, Server hardware

  • What we are looking for:

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in desktop/IT support including hardware expertise.

  • Experience in Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues (Windows and/or macOS)

  • Install, configure, image, and deploy desktops, laptops, and approved software applications

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access using Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune and related tools

  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint

  • Respond to service desk tickets, prioritize workload, and meet established SLAs

  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams while maintaining ownership and follow-up

  • Perform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance in accordance with ITG policies

  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including equipment provisioning and access setup

  • Document incidents, resolutions, procedures, and asset information in the IT service management system

  • Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and office move as needed

  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and acceptable use policies

  • Additional knowledge on schneider access expert will be beneficial.
