System Engineer

We are looking for a System Engineer with 2+ years of experience in production application support,

system administration, and cloud management. The role focuses on maintaining the availability,

performance, and security of production applications and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Production Application Support: Monitor and troubleshoot critical production applications,

resolve issues, and ensure uptime.

• System Administration: Manage and maintain Linux/Windows servers, perform system updates,

backups, and ensure security.

• Cloud Administration: Good to have skill set- knowledge of AWS services are preferrable.

• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to deploy applications and ensure smooth

operations.

• Should be open for flexible shifts in a rotational manner.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in system administration and application support.

• Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and automation tools.

• Knowledge of security protocols and networking

• Understanding of DNS, DHCP along with IT security concepts.

• ITIL understanding.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Nagios, or Datadog.

• ITIL certification is preferred.

• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

• Knowledge about cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and Linux/Windows server administration.
