Good knowledge about the Linux system files, boot process and Run levels.

Good understanding of security best practices, networking concepts, threats, tools and remediation techniques.

OS Installation, OS patching skills on Linux. Apply patches to the OS / applications or upgrade the applications as and

when required, as per the approval from the respective Team Leaders.

Implement Proactive Patch Upgrade, user administration etc.

Knowledge on Memory management for better OS and application performances

Backup and restoration management

Hands-on experience of system management, system setup and managing Linux based servers as well as configuring them.
