- University degree in the field of computer science or a combination of industry certifications VMware and MS Server Operating Systems, and/or equivalent related work experience of 6 years or more. Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including at least 6 years industry experience in a technical role. Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols and standards. On-call availability for 24-hour call rotation in a production environment. Strong understanding of project management principles. Strong customer service orientation. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required. Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.
