We are seeking an Oracle Health Millennium (formerly Cerner) charge services application analyst to join our healthcare IT team in Bangalore. This role focuses on the configuration and support of Oracle Health's Charge services modules within the Millennium electronic health record (EHR) system. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience where they leverage their exposure to operational workflows and/or the Oracle Health scheduling applications to accrately configure and thoroughly test scheduling changes. You will collaborate with front-office staff, clinical teams, and IT professionals to deliver tailored solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Provide end-to-end support for Oracle Health Millennium Charge Services, including charge capture configuration, automated and manual charge posting, charge sessions, medical necessity validation, CPT/HCPCS mapping, revenue code alignment, and charge workflow reconciliation across inpatient and outpatient environments.
• Troubleshoot charge-related system issues (., missing charges, incorrect mappings, duplicate charges, failed charge sessions) and ensure timely resolution to minimize revenue leakage and ensure accurate downstream billing.
• Assess current-state charge workflows and collaborate with operational stakeholders (coding, billing, revenue integrity, clinical departments) to identify gaps, streamline processes, and recommend workflow or system enhancements.
• Manage charge services–related impacts during upgrades, regulatory updates, and enhancement releases—including charge validation testing, mapping reviews, regression testing, and coordination with revenue cycle teams for compliance and accuracy.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings with clinical, revenue integrity, coding, and finance teams—prepare agendas, document discussions, track action items, and support cutover/go-live planning for new charge workflows or optimizations.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, including ITIL runbooks, charge build standards, reconciliation guides, troubleshooting playbooks, and governance procedures for charge accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor performance of charge workflows using tools such as LightsOn, charge exception reports, and reconciliation dashboards; identify patterns, recommend fixes, and partner with revenue integrity teams to reduce denials and improve reimbursement.
• Stay current on Oracle Health Charge Services updates, CMS/US regulatory requirements (., NCD/LCD changes, CPT/HCPCS updates, medical necessity rules), and industry best practices to guide clients on strategic charge alignment and optimization.
