**Overview**
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Engineer/Systems Architect for our NIH-CIT Proposal. This position will be located in Rockville, MD and will be a hybrid role.
**Responsibilities**
The SME role’s responsibilities include:
+ Coordinate with the Section Manager to evaluate, design, and test architecture designs and services from the roadmap backlog
+ Lead the transition of user accepted designs and services to the Operations and Security Teams
+ Provide subject matter expertise in Enterprise-level wireless networks
The Network Architecture Section responsibilities include:
+ Strategically plan, architect, design, engineer, develop, test, implement, modernize, and enhance the functional capabilities, capacity, and performance of the NIH Network and TIC Services in alignment with NIH future state architecture objectives
