The Role

As a Systems Engineer you will deliver a range of service across a broad spectrum of science and engineering disciplines including research and development, independent and technical specialist advice and independent test and evaluation to clients in QinetiQ’s Airborne Anti-Submarine Warfare team.

Day-to-day, you will work with a team that work closely with its customers to design and implement advanced solutions that address real-world challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Problem solving and the application of science underpinned by a tailored life-cycle approach e.g. Systems/Software Engineering lifecycle

  • The use of rapid-prototyping techniques to inform system design decisions

  • Being a self-motivated team member and taking ownership of tasking whilst operating collaboratively within a dynamic team
