This role is of a Systems Engineer working within a defence R&D environment focused on complex naval platforms and mission systems. It is well suited for professionals passionate about architecting and engineering electronics- and software-intensive defence systems, and applying Systems Engineering, MBSE, and Digital Engineering practices on real-world naval programs.
The Systems Engineer works closely with multidisciplinary teams across electronics, software, mechanical, test, and domain specialists, contributing across the system lifecycle—from concept and architecture through integration, verification, and validation. The role requires leading by example through technical rigor, collaboration, and responsiveness, in alignment with the expectations of a high-assurance defence environment.

Location: New Delhi
Relevant Experience (Must have)
3–5 years of industry experience in systems engineering or product development, preferably in defence, aerospace, or safety-critical domains.
- Hands-on experience in product development and system architecture for complex systems.
- Practical exposure to Systems Engineering / MBSE / Digital Engineering practices.
- Experience with MBSE tools such as Capella, Rhapsody, or equivalent.
- Strong experience in requirements authoring, management, and traceability using tools
- Experience with behavioral modeling and simulation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience interacting with
- customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Nice to have Experience
- Exposure to naval systems, defence platforms, or mission-critical systems.
- Knowledge of electronics- and software-intensive system architectures.
- Strong understanding of Sys ML and its application in MBSE.
- Experience in Verification & Validation (V&V) planning and execution.
- Experience implementing and maintaining quality assurance and configuration control
- across project stages.
