Job Description
We are seeking a Systems Engineer (Microsoft 365 & EUC) to implement, migrate, and support modern workplace solutions in a Managed Services environment. This role focuses on Microsoft 365 administration, Endpoint & User Computing (EUC) using Microsoft Intune, SaaS platform migrations, and user enablement, including Microsoft Copilot adoption.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Administer and support Microsoft 365 services and on-prem:
Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams
- Windows server OS administration, Active directory administration and migration
- Microsoft exchange server , SCCM and WSUS
Implement and manage Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM):
Device compliance policies, configuration profiles, app deployment
- Windows Autopilot provisioning
Perform SaaS and tenant migrations, including:
Google Workspace to Microsoft 365
- Exchange Email and file server migrations to Exchange Online and SharePoint
Manage identity and access using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD):
Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC
Implement endpoint and productivity security controls:
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Data retention and basic and Endpoint DLP policies
· Administer and support Windows 365 Cloud PC/ Azure VD environments
Support Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365:
Assist with readiness assessment, licensing, and basic configuration
- Support Copilot adoption aligned with organisational security policies
Conduct user enablement and training sessions, including:
Microsoft 365 end-user training
- Copilot awareness and usage training
Operate in a Managed Services model, providing:
L2/L3 support across multiple customers
- Incident, change, and problem management
- 24x7 standby on rotation basis
- Conduct UAT, documentation, handover, and customer walkthroughs
- Work with internal teams to meet SLA and service delivery targets
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration
- Proven experience working in a Managed Services / MSP environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune
- Experience with SaaS / email migrations
- Familiar with Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 (deployment or support experience preferred)
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, iOS, Android device management
- Good understanding of Entra ID
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate
- ITIL Foundation (incident and change management exposure)
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Experience with migration tools (AvePoint, BitTitan, Quest)
A Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure) is also available for those with strong experience in Microsoft Azure and AWS, covering IaaS design, landing zones, security, backup, and project-based delivery. This role involves designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud landing zones, executing migration projects, and ensuring platforms are built in line with security baselines and governance best practices.
The job scope for the Senior Systems Engineer involves the following:
Design, deploy, and manage IaaS environments on:
Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Design and implement Cloud Landing Zones, including:
Subscription / account structure
- Networking, identity, security, and governance foundations
Build and support cloud infrastructure components:
Virtual machines, networking, storage, and security services
· Execute on-premise to cloud migration projects (VMware / Hyper-V to Azure or AWS)
· Backup software - CA Arcserve, Veritas Backup Exec, Acronis, Shadow Protect, Veeam, Azure Backup
· Virtualization/Cloud administration and support - VMware, HyperV, VMware Horizon, Nutanix ,Redhat OpenShift, Huawei Fusion Cube
· Implement and maintain cloud security controls and baselines, including:
o Azure Security Baseline / CIS benchmarks
Network segmentation, NSGs, Security Groups, firewalls
Deploy and manage cloud security tools, such as:
Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- Azure Firewall, AWS Security Groups, WAF
Implement and support cloud backup and disaster recovery solutions:
Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery
- AWS Backup, snapshots, cross-region replication
Configure and manage identity and access security:
Azure RBAC, AWS IAM, least-privilege access
Participate in project planning and delivery:
Technical design, effort estimation, risk identification
- Perform L2/L3 troubleshooting, performance tuning, and cost optimisation
- Prepare project documentation, architecture diagrams, and handover materials
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in systems or cloud infrastructure engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS
- Proven experience designing and implementing Cloud Landing Zones
- Experience implementing cloud security tools and security baselines
- Hands-on experience with cloud backup and DR solutions
- Experience working on infrastructure or cloud migration projects
- Good understanding of project delivery methodologies
- Strong networking fundamentals
- Experience with Windows and Linux server administration
