We are looking for an experienced and passionate Systems Engineering Lead with a strong background in model-based design and modeling and simulation architectures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

· Spearheading model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies, ensuring alignment with DoD standards and practices.

· Leveraging agile development strategies to develop modeling architecture in support of requirements allocation and verification, design trade studies and optimization, functional and mission modelling, specification development, and collaboration with customer and end user modeling frameworks.

· Coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of MBSE concepts within our system development processes.

· Utilizing systems engineering tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw, MATLAB, or similar for system design and analysis.

· Conducting system architecture design, requirements engineering, verification and validation, and risk management activities.

· Managing the systems engineering process for complex military systems, from concept to deployment, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, project requirements, and industry standards.

· Performing system level trade analysis of different design options including estimated development and operational costs.

· Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and subject matter experts, to develop system architecture and design solutions that optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability.

· Overseeing system integration, verification, and validation activities to ensure compliance with functional requirements and performance objectives.

· Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to address technical challenges and ensuring system safety, security, and interoperability.

· Collaboration with project managers to develop project plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $70.00/hr.
