Systems Engineering Co-Op

Position Summary
The System Engineering Co-op student will work alongside, and in support of the Systems Engineering team. The system engineering team is a diverse, collaborative group working on the support and/or development of medical devices used to automate in-vitro diagnostic testing usually found in a microbiology laboratory. The engineering co-op student will be supervised by and mentored by the Director, Manager, and Senior engineers within the System Engineering team and the role will include a significant amount of interaction and collaboration with other system development team members.
Primary Duties
+ The co-op student will obtain basic knowledge related to medical instrumentation research, design, development, and testing. Candidates will be expected to have general engineering knowledge including the use of standard engineering practices.
