We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Specialist to join our team in BANGALORE, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Data Modeler - Job Description

  • Design and develop robust data models to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of data models into ETL pipelines.
  • Implement and maintain data modeling standards and best practices, ensuring consistency and quality across all data assets.
  • Optimize existing data models for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data models, including data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and metadata.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data models.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of data models to accommodate evolving business needs and technological advancements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data modelers and other team members. (Adhoc)
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards. (Documented)
  • Manage and support data model-related risk assessments and audits. (not specifically data model audit)

    • Skills Needed

  • Preferably at least 5 years of experience in data modeling or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Data Vault modeling techniques.
  • Strong proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques with ERWIN
  • Solid understanding of relational and dimensional databases.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
  • Advanced English proficiency is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.

    • Further information:

    Data Vault is the main modelling paradigm. Hence Data Vault knowledge and experience is needed. Other data models knowledge is a plus.

    Good To Have :

  • Experience with Synapse, Delta Lake and/or PowerBI
  • Experience in Bl Projects
