Job Description

The System Test Engineer plays a critical role in validating AEye’s LiDAR systems and ensuring end-to-end functionality across hardware, firmware, and software components. You will design, execute, and automate system-level tests to guarantee performance, reliability, and compliance with requirements. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • System-Level Testing: Develop and execute test plans for integrated LiDAR systems, including hardware, embedded software, point cloud algorithms and end-to-end pipeline.
    Validate system performance under various environmental and operational conditions.

  • Automation & Tools: Create automated test scripts and frameworks for regression and performance testing.
    Utilize tools such as Python, C++, and CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
