Talascend is seeking a Tactical Operations Coordinator for a contract opportunity in Warren, MI
Responsibilities:
  • Support / Lead conference calls with business transfers and critical supply issues
  • Function as liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide technical support
  • Determine the cause of supplier delivery problems and coordinate/implement effective and timely resolutions
  • Help assess and assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions for critical issues Improve delivery performance of suppliers by identifying process improvements and lead time reduction opportunities
  • May participate as member or resource to product development teams
  • Regularly exchange information with others inside and outside the work group including GM and supplier facilities
