Tailor

• The Tailor provides a personal service to each client specializing in modifications and adjustments.
• The Tailor will complete repair work, and alterations, to suit a customer’s needs. The customer will then come back to the shop for a fitting and to see if further alterations are needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Be able to communicate clearly and provide personal customer service.
• Have the ability to work to deadlines.
• Completing alterations to garments using a thread or sewing machine
• Adapting and developing existing designs
• Drawing patterns or altering existing patterns
• Ironing garments
• Perform other related duties as required.

Desired Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a tailor or similar role preferred.
