Job Title: Talent Acquisition Lead
Location: Chennai, Anna Nagar
Experience: 5–8 years
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding for roles across research, editorial, and publishing teams.
• Partner with department heads to understand role requirements, competencies, and cultural fit.
• Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies through job portals, LinkedIn, academic networks, research communities, conferences, and referrals.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for both immediate and future hiring needs in research, publication operations, marketing, and admin functions.
• Ensure effective candidate engagement and experience throughout the hiring process.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial HR interviews, and coordinate interviews with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of candidates and recruitment activities
• Prepare recruitment metrics, hiring dashboards, and regular status reports.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or any
• 5-8 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment (experience in research/education publishing is a strong advantage).
• Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment practices and tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, research networks, academic portals).
• High attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred / Advantageous
• Previous recruitment experience in research institutions, publishing, academic journals, or educational organizations.
• Familiarity with recruiting for specialized research roles, editorial teams, and publication operations.
• Knowledge of talent sourcing within academic/research domains.
