Tamil Counsellor

About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven Tamil Academic Counsellor with prior experience in guiding students for JEE/NEET exam preparation. This is a work-from-home opportunity for professionals passionate about helping students navigate their academic journeys and achieve their goals through PhysicsWallah’s learning platforms, primarily catering to Tamil-speaking students and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students and/or parents in Tamil regarding course offerings, exam preparation strategies, and academic goals.

• Understand students’ learning needs and recommend suitable courses for JEE/NEET preparation.

• Follow up with leads through calls, WhatsApp, or email to ensure high conversion and satisfaction.

• Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress in the CRM system.

• Collaborate with the marketing and academic teams to enhance user experience and retention for the Tamil learner base.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in academic counselling, preferably in the JEE/NEET domain .

• Excellent communication and persuasion skills in Tamil and English.

• Ability to handle student and parent queries effectively and empathetically.

• Familiarity with online education tools and digital counselling platforms.

• Must have a laptop/desktop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment.
