Job Description

Position Purpose

: The Tape Department Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the Tape Department including performance outcomes, productivity targets, continuous improvement initiatives, OHS and employee relations.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Responsible for management of the Tape department consisting of Tape Lines, Repro and Coreline equipment across multiple shifts.
  • Plans, supervises, and directs daily production operations with an ability to anticipate and alleviate production problems, such as material shortages, equipment malfunctions and employee-related situations.
  • Primarily responsible for coaching and developing the team.
  • Participates in the selection and interview processes to fill hourly employee positions.
  • Conducts employee reviews and maintains training and performance documentation.
