Tax Accountant

My client has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join the Finance Team of a 

European Head office of a multinational company based in Cork.

You will report to the Tax Manager and will have the opportunity to work with both Tax and General Ledger Accounting teams. You will also work closely with other teams in the European Operations Centre including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, 

Logistics, Customer Operations and Commercial teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation, collation, and submission of various compliance returns including 

Corporation Tax, WHT, VAT and statistical returns for entities throughout Europe;

• Preparation and review of monthly tax provisions and tax reports for financial 

reporting and statutory reporting purposes;

• Assist with co-ordination of tax queries, reviews and audits, including liaising 

with external service providers and tax inspectors;
