About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Compliance Executive. This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, curious to learn, and keen to grow beyond traditional accounting into areas like financial analysis, valuations, and business pitching.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle GST & Income Tax compliance, including filings, returns, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and assist in periodic financial reporting.
• Work extensively on GST and Income Tax portals for submissions, notices, and updates.
• Maintain books of accounts using Tally Software and advanced Excel tools.
• Ensure up-to-date knowledge of GST & Income Tax laws, rules, and regulations.
• Support day-to-day accounting activities, documentation, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal teams for payments, invoices, and record management.
• Proactively identify gaps, resolve issues, and suggest process improvements.
• Demonstrate a strong learning mindset, with interest in expanding knowledge around valuations, financial modeling, pitching, and startup finance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Hands-on experience with GST & Income Tax compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with government portals (GST, Income Tax).
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
