Tax Associate

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with the review and e-file of GST returns, simplified GST returns and Statement of Claims
• Assist clients with GST health checks such as Assisted Self-Help Kit (ASK) and Assisted Compliance Assurance Program (ACAP)
• Assist clients with the application for GST registration, exemption from GST registration, GST remission and schemes
• Assist clients in managing tax queries and audits
• Provide advisory services to clients on complex GST transactions
• Provide support to engagement manager and work closely with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
• Contribute to efforts and take an active role in leveraging technology to digitalize and automate GST processes, improving efficiency and accuracy
• Ability to mentor and guide juniors or associates, delegating tasks and overseeing their work in a team as a Senior
