Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Associate located in Chennai. The Tax Associate will be responsible for managing tax compliance and preparation activities, performing tax-related research, applying tax laws, and assisting with finance-related tasks. The role involves working closely with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Location
The work location shall be Chennai (Egmore).
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and understanding of Tax Law
- Knowledge of Tax policies and ability to interpret and apply tax regulations
- Strong skills in Finance and financial analysis
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and high numerical aptitude
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications like CPA or EA are a plus
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction and collaboration
- Prior experience in a tax-related or financial role is preferred
