As a Tax Prep Specialist, you will interview clients, prepare accurate tax returns, and ensure a seamless experience for each client.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare individual and occasional small business tax returns accurately and efficiently, reviewing source documents to determine required forms.
+ Conduct client interviews, explain outcomes, and provide basic planning guidance while delivering outstanding customer service.
+ Ensure compliance and accuracy by staying current on relevant tax rules, verifying data in tax software, and following company policies.
+ Maintain organized and secure client files, follow up on missing information, and ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping.
+ Collaborate with the Office Supervisor and assist with basic marketing touchpoints as needed.
