    Job Description

  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies to ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide guidance on tax implications for business operations and transactions.
  • Manage tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as required.
  • Identify opportunities for tax savings and implement cost-effective tax planning strategies.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Lead and mentor the taxation team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

    • The Successful Applicant

    A successful Taxation Head should have:

  • A strong Chartered Accountant or a person with equivalent degree
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations along strong understanding of US and other global taxation laws
  • Proven expertise in taxation within the technology and tech services organisations with an overall experience of 20+ years.
  • Experience in handling finance managers and external tax consultants and organisations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
