Data Engineering Informatica MDM- Informatica DQ - Staff

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Consultant to join our Data and Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data quality assessment, governance, and management, particularly with Informatica Data Quality and other leading data quality tools.

This role requires a proactive individual who can conduct comprehensive assessments, develop data quality policies, and implement effective solutions to enhance data integrity across various domains.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct current state assessments of client environments across all domains of data governance and data management.
  • Perform initial data quality assessments using open-source tools and demonstrate proficiency with advanced data quality tools.
  • Develop data quality rules, define data quality issues resolution, and create policies and processes to address these issues.
  • Design and implement data quality issue resolution strategies, including defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and experience in implementing data quality KPIs.
  • Lead full-scale implementation and configuration of leading data quality tools, with a focus on Informatica Data Quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality standards are met and maintained.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders, showcasing findings and recommendations.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the delivery of projects globally.

    • Must have skills:

  • Relevant experience in Informatica Data quality or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of data management, data quality, and governance principles.
  • Proven experience in implementing data quality rules, business glossaries, data quality profiling, and publishing Data Quality results dashboards.
  • Ability to articulate and propose technology solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Ability to handle all required activities with minimal support.

    • Good To have:

  • Good understanding of Data Management and Governance frameworks and leading practices such as DAMA, CMMI, or NDMO.
  • Familiarity with related Data Governance and Management tools and technologies such as EDC, AXON, Microsoft Purview and Collibra.
