Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support the implementation of hybrid cloud data solutions. The ideal candidate will design and implement data migration and synchronization strategies across SQL Edge, AWS Aurora Postgre SQL, and Azure SQL environments. Experience with Io T data pipelines and time-series data management is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data migration and synchronization solutions, including DMS setup, bulk migration strategies, and continuous sync mechanisms between SQL Edge, AWS Aurora Postgre SQL, and Azure SQL environments.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for Io T data ingestion, including schema design, retention policies, and efficient processes for time-series data sync across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Convert and implement data queries and transformations, specifically focusing on ADX to Influx/Timestream migrations and establishing proper data validation frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement bidirectional data sync solutions, reporting read replicas, and ensure data integrity across hybrid cloud environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong expertise in SQL Edge, AWS Aurora Postgre SQL, Azure SQL, and data migration tools like AWS DMS.
- Experience with Io T data pipelines and time-series databases such as Influx DB and Timestream.
- Proficiency in data transformation and query optimization across cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of data validation frameworks and data integrity assurance.
Desired Skills
- Experience with ADX and its migration to other time-series databases.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools and monitoring solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support implementation activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
