Seeking paraprofessionals to support students with severe needs in K-12 educational settings. These contract roles are available for the current school year and focus on working with high-intensity behavior caseloads in either high school or elementary settings. Assignments are located in Levittown, PA, serving underserved special education populations. Key Responsibilities: Provide paraprofessional support to students with severe needs in K-8 or high school classrooms Assist in managing high-intensity behavioral challenges under supervision of special education staff Collaborate with teachers and specialists to deliver individualized student supports Participate in mandatory orientation and ongoing training to ensure compliance and effectiveness Maintain required Pennsylvania DOE clearances and qualifications for special education paraprofessional roles Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience as a paraprofessional in a special education school with severe needs students Residency within 35 minutes of Levittown, PA to ensure reliable commute Ability to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday (varied start/end times based on assignment) Completion of PA paraprofessional qualifications including either: Two years of post-secondary study (48 college credits), or An associate degree or higher, or Credential of Competency or CDA certificate (or commitment to complete PA training modules within 60 days of hire) Ability to provide two supervisor references for paraprofessional experience Schedule & Location Details: High school caseload at Samuel Everitt School: 7:30 AM 3:00 PM Elementary caseload at Pearl Buck School: 8:00 AM 3:30 PM (used if high school location fills) Orientation weeks require attendance from 8:30 AM 4:30 PM every other week Assignment Dates: Approx.
