This is an excellent opportunity for a committed support professional who has a strong understanding of autism and is confident working in structured, specialist environments.
The Role
Supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities and differentiated tasks
Implementing behaviour and communication strategies such as visual timetables and PECS
Encouraging social interaction, emotional regulation and independence
Helping to maintain a calm, predictable and supportive classroom environment
