Teaching Assistant, Basingstoke - Secondary SEMH School - April Start

Academics are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a secondary SEMH School in Basingstoke to start after the Easter holidays/from Tuesday 22nd April. This is a full-time, temp to perm contract, so if you are ultimately looking for a permanent contract, please apply!

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils aged 11 - 16 years with complex social, emotional and mental health needs. This a very challenging yet rewarding role, you will be required to support learners in a group and individual basis working 1:1.

Due to the nature of the setting, this is suitable for someone with experience of working with children with challenging behaviours, who is able to develop good relationships and support positive engagement in tasks and activities.
