Teaching Assistant

You will be supporting the delivery of  Maths and English, vocational Qualifications, and enrichment elements to help our students prepare for independence, and work experience. 

We expect every member of the team to work collaboratively and flexibly, but you will have specific accountabilities, which include:

• Supporting our Tutor to deliver English, Maths and ICT Functional Skills, GCSE English and Maths resits, and a vocational subject (currently BTEC Work skills) over four teaching days.
• Supporting the Placement and Progression Officer to plan and deliver employability workshops, supporting guest speakers and providing enrichment activities
• Providing support to learners on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, and all the while with empathy, respect and patience, appreciating that our students have faced, and continue to face many challenges in their lives which can make them harder to engag...
