Teaching Assistant Level 3 (Mainstream)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for Teaching Assistant Level 3 with a specific focus on English as an Additional Language (EAL) to join our fantastic team at Chorlton High School.

This is a permanent post, and we are open to applications for full-time (35 hours per week) or part-time (2128 hours per week, 34 full days), term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £22,710 for full-time hours (£26,403 FTE), Grade 4.

The Role
Working under the guidance of teachers and senior staff, the successful candidate will take a lead role in supporting pupils for whom English is an additional language, helping them to access the curriculum, develop academic English, and overcome language-related barriers to learning.
