Prospero Teaching is proud to be supporting a nurturing and inclusive Primary school near Newbury, in the recruitment of a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support primary-aged pupils from Year 1-6.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils learning, progress, and wellbeing. You will assist with delivering learning activities and help create a positive and focused classroom environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting individual pupils and small groups within the classroom
  • Assisting teachers with planning and delivering learning activities
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupils social development
  • Helping to maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
