Teaching Assistant SEND

Axcis Education are delighted to be working with a large SEND school in Blackburn, who are searching for Teaching Assistants to join their team. There are full time and part time positions available. The hours of work are 9.00am-3.00pm, though there are a limited number of positions available with 8.30am-3.30pm as the working hours. The school will consider permanent contracts for those who succeed in their role. The school caters for students aged between 4 and 19 with a range of additional needs. You would predominantly be working with autism across the spectrum, learning disabilities and complex needs. Personal care would be required as part of the role. This role would suit applicants coming from a care work background due to the SEND requirements of the role The roles are based in a well-regarded SEND school, which was rated as ‘good’ in it’s most recent OFSTED inspection.
