Teaching Assistant

Katharine Lady Berkeley's School wishes to add to its existing supportive and hardworking team of Teaching Assistants. The role provides in-classroom support to young people with special educational needs.

The position is term time only, 27.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.20am to 2.50pm with a 60-minute unpaid break . There may, however, be some flexibility on hours for ideal candidates. The full-time equivalent salary is NJC Points 11-14 (£28,142- £29,540) dependent on experience, qualifications and hours worked. The actual pro rata salary is £17,489- £18,358.

Candidates should have a good basic level of education in order to support the young people in their studies, and should have experience of working with young people in some capacity.
