Teaching Assistant (part & full time)

Vision for Education are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant on behalf of a large multi academy trust working in various primary schools in the Scarborough area. Working in these schools as part of an established team, the Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting children aged 5 – 11in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher. The Teaching Assistant role is varied and will involve supporting children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis starting ad hoc which may lead to a short/long term contract for the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • Recent experience supporting children in a UK primary school
  • Have a patient and caring nature
  • Have the ability to build positive relationships
  • Have the ability to motivate and engage students
