About SASH

SASH is a specialist sexual assault service, based in community sites in Western Melbourne and at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

SASH provides:

1. Sexual Assault Crisis Response for children following sexual harm (recent experience or disclosure) and their families. This support is face-to-face and provided 24/7 at the RCH.

2. Counselling for children living in metro west Melbourne who have experienced sexual harm or engaged in harmful sexual behaviour and their families.

3. Consultation and professional education to enhance capacity, confidence and capability in the community for the safety, rights and recovery of children after sexual harm.
