As Team Lead - Ad Operations, you will lead the team managing digital marketing campaign delivery, troubleshooting platform issues, and mentoring a growing team. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about operational excellence in digital advertising.
You will be the primary link between the India operations team and US-based stakeholders, requiring strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the ad operations team to ensure operational efficiency and performance.
- Drive the career development of team members through structured mentorship and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and contribute to team training programs.
Campaign Management & Optimization
- Oversee the delivery and QA of ad campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and ensure all campaigns meet quality and policy standards.
- Manage ad rejection appeals and resolve platform compliance issues with Google and Meta.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison between the India ad operations team and US-based teams including Technical Account Management, Client Success, and Analytics to ensure aligned priorities and seamless campaign delivery.
- Partner with technical teams to optimize ad ops tools and improve real-time tracking.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Assist the team with data review in GA4 and media tracking setup.
- Produce insights based on campaign delivery performance.
Process Improvement
- Enhance internal workflows to improve quality control and error management.
- Drive process automation and implement innovations to improve team scalability.
Qualifications
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in digital advertising and ad operations
- 3+ years in a people management role
- Hands-on proficiency with Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, GA4, and Google Tag Manager
- Experience with JIRA or similar ticketing systems for workflow management
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot platform issues and manage ad rejection appeals
- Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal — this role requires regular collaboration with US-based teams
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field
Preferred:
- Experience with Linked In Ads, Tik Tok Ads, or Looker
- Technical knowledge of HTML, XML, or Java Script
- Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications
- Master's degree
