Job Description
Reports to: Production Manager
Key job tasks:
- Prepare and organize assigned work cells according to production plan.
- Train new employees in assigned work cells.
- Help production workers reach maximum performance by insuring all needed tools and supplies are available.
- Identify and help resolve potential issues preventing optimal production performance.
- Report unexpected production interruptions to shift supervisor and/or maintenance team.
- Maintain a clean work area according to 5S practices.
- Ensure a clean handoff between shifts.
- Comply with all Mayser policies and Safety standards.
- Coordinate machine changeovers with maintenance team.
- Assist in Kaizen projects.
- Suggest production process improvements.
- Assist with the implementation of work instructions on the production floor.
Any other task assigned by management.
