Responsibilities


We are looking for a Team Manager (all genders) to lead and support multiple software development teams working on TeamViewer Frontline. This role involves strategic oversight, people management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement across teams. You will work closely with other R&D leaders and contribute to department-wide initiatives in an agile, modern environment.


  • Manage and mentor several agile software development teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical strategy.

  • Drive the execution of the product roadmap in collaboration with Product Management and other stakeholders.

  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee team capacity planning, resource allocation, and hiring to support growth and delivery.

  • Promote agile principles and support teams in adopting best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.

  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.

  • Support the professional development of team members through coaching, feedback, and career planning.

  • Act as a key liaison between engineering teams and senior management, translating technical progress into business-relevant updates.

  • Champion a culture of open communication, psychological safety, and accountability.

  • Requirements

  • A university or college degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in a managerial role within software development, ideally in an agile environment.

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a solid understanding of modern development practices and technologies.

  • Proven track record of leading multiple teams or a larger development organization.

  • Strong understanding of software architecture, scalable systems, and development lifecycle management.

  • Experience in strategic planning, team building, and performance management.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages such as German are a plus.
