Teamcenter Developer

Requirements:

• Degree in software engineering

• 3-5 years of experience in Teamcenter programming

The Teamcenter developer must have strong experience in several programming languages. It is also required that the developer already has a good knowledge in programming for Teamcenter. This also includes that he/she must have knowledge in Teamcenter data model, Teamcenter server architecture and Teamcenter services.

• Background in mechanical engineering with industrial experience is a plus

Having a background in a mechanical engineering environment is a plus. This means having experience in collaboration with mechanical engineers and understanding their requirements.

• Strong Experience in programming

The developer must show strong experience in the following languages C++, JSON, XSLT and good knowledge in programming XML, HTML and perl would be a plus

• Experience in creating Teamcenter ITKs

The developer should know the possibilities offered by the ITK to know if they can be used for automation required by the engineering team. He should also be ready create ITK and if necessary, learn how to program ITKs. For creation of tools, it is required that the developer has a strong knowledge of the Teamcenter database structure and has good skills in querying SQL databases.

• Strong knowledge about Teamcenter Active Workspace and creation of workspace for UI optimization

The developer must have a strong knowledge about Active Workspace in terms of configuration and extension possibilities. Active Workspace delivers some tools to create and extend the UI, but also to add actions. The developer must have knowledge in tools like Panel Builder, Command Builder and Action Builder. The developer must also have experience in creating custom workspaces to optimize the UI depending on the needs of user groups.

• Good knowledge of Teamcenter plmxml

Teamcenter PLMXML is a Teamcenter specific xml format, which is used to export and import data. The developer should have a good knowledge of this format, but also should have good knowledge in Teamcenter PLMXML Administration. In PLMXML Administration transfer modes can be managed and created. The developer must have knowledge in creation of closure rules and property sets.
