Teceze - Practice Head - Cloud & Infrastructure Services

<p><p><b>Description:</b><br/><br/>The Practice Head will build, lead, and scale Tecezes Cloud & Infrastructure Services business with full ownership of P&L, revenue growth, gross margin, and delivery excellence across:<br/><br/>- Public Cloud: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud (GCP)<br/><br/>- Private Cloud: VMware, OpenStack (implementation + managed services)<br/><br/>- SRE / Platform Engineering: automation, reliability, observability, CI/CD, IaC, FinOps enablement<br/><br/>This role requires a leader who has been hands-on earlier in their career, understands architecture and operations deeply, and can drive GTM + solutions + delivery + practice capability end-to-end.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br/><br/><b>1) P&L Ownership and Practice Growth:</b><br/><br/>- Own practice P&L: revenue, cost, GM%, utilization, bench, subcontractor spend, tool/licensing costs.<br/><br/>- Define annual operating plan, quarterly targets, pricing strategy, margin guardrails, and delivery model.<br/><br/>- Establish a scalable structure for pre-sales, projects, managed services, and CoE.<br/><br/>- Drive predictable growth through pipeline governance and recurring revenue expansion.<br/><br/><b>2) Sales Leadership (New Logo + Farming):</b><br/><br/>- Own the sales number for the tower (direct + supported sales).<br/><br/>- Partner with Sales/Account teams to build account plans, white-space analysis, and conversion plays.<br/><br/>- Lead deal shaping: discovery, solution positioning, commercials, staffing, and risk assumptions.<br/><br/>- Engage CXO/IT leadership in customers for cloud strategy, modernization roadmap, managed services transformation.<br/><br/>- Build and maintain a strong partner ecosystem offerings to drive:<br/><br/>- Cloud assessment & roadmap, landing zone, migration factory, modernization, container/Kubernetes platform<br/><br/>- Managed cloud operations (24x7), SRE transformation, FinOps optimization<br/><br/>- DR/BCP, security & compliance alignment, observability/NOC/SOC integration<br/><br/><b>3) Delivery Ownership (Projects + Managed Services):</b><br/><br/>- Accountable for end-to-end delivery, including scope, quality, schedule, SLAs, customer satisfaction, and profitability.<br/><br/>- Establish delivery governance: QBRs, risk management, escalation, change control, acceptance criteria.<br/><br/>- Build strong SOPs/runbooks, operational metrics, and continuous improvement practices.<br/><br/>- Ensure audit readiness and compliance for regulated customers where applicable.<br/><br/><b>4) Public Cloud Leadership (AWS | Azure | GCP):</b><br/><br/>Define reference architectures for:<br/><br/>- Landing zones, identity, network, governance, security baseline<br/><br/>- Migration patterns (rehost/refactor/replatform), hybrid connectivity<br/><br/>- Cloud-native operations, backup/DR, cost controls<br/><br/>- Drive adoption of IaC and standard automation patterns Create packaged solutions: Landing Zone in 2 Weeks, Migration Factory, Managed CloudOps.<br/><br/><b>5) Private Cloud (VMware | OpenStack):</b><br/><br/>Lead solutioning and execution for:<br/><br/>- Private cloud design and deployment (VMware vSphere/NSX/vSAN, OpenStack)<br/><br/>- Capacity planning, multi-tenancy, chargeback/showback, self-service portals<br/><br/>- Integration with ITSM/CMDB, monitoring, backup, DR<br/><br/>- Support customers migrating from traditional infra to private cloud + hybrid cloud models.<br/><br/><b>6) SRE / Automation / Platform Engineering Capability:</b><br/><br/>Build SRE service lines:<br/><br/>- Reliability engineering, SLO/SLI frameworks, incident/problem management, error budgets<br/><br/>- Observability (metrics/logs/traces), APM, alert rationalization<br/><br/>- Release engineering, CI/CD reliability, automated rollbacks<br/><br/>Drive automation-first approach:<br/><br/>- IaC + configuration management + policy-as-code<br/><br/>- Auto-remediation, self-healing, ChatOps where relevant<br/><br/>Standardize toolchain recommendations (examples):<br/><br/>- Terraform, Ansible, GitHub/GitLab/Jenkins, ArgoCD<br/><br/>- Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/Opensearch, Datadog/New Relic (as per customer)<br/><br/>- ServiceNow/Jira for ITSM integration<br/><br/><b>7) Practice Building: CoE, People, Skills, IP:</b><br/><br/>- Hire and grow a strong team: cloud architects, SRE leads, platform engineers, delivery managers.<br/><br/>- Build competency matrices, certification plans, and learning paths.<br/><br/>- Create reusable assets: reference designs, accelerators, automation libraries, migration playbooks.<br/><br/>- Establish bid excellence: estimation templates, SoW/MSA inputs, RACI, SLA catalogs.<br/><br/><b>8) Governance, Security, and FinOps (Cross-cutting):</b><br/><br/>- Ensure security-by-design: IAM, network segmentation, encryption, key management, logging, vulnerability mgmt.<br/><br/>- Embed FinOps practices: cost allocation, tagging standards, budgets, anomaly detection, unit economics.<br/><br/>- Ensure compliance support for ISO, SOC2, PCI, HIPAA, or local regulatory requirements where applicable.<br/><br/><b>Success Metrics (KPIs):</b><br/><br/>- Revenue & GM% achievement for practice<br/><br/>- Pipeline coverage and win rate; growth in recurring managed services revenue<br/><br/>- Delivery KPIs: on-time/on-budget, SLA attainment, incident reduction, MTTR improvement<br/><br/>- Customer success: CSAT/NPS, renewals, expansions<br/><br/>- Utilization, bench control, certification counts, attrition control<br/><br/>- Automation coverage (% infra as code, % automated deployments, % auto-remediation)<br/><br/><b>Required Experience & Skills:</b><br/><br/><b>Leadership / Business:</b><br/><br/>- 15 - 20+ years in Infrastructure/Cloud; 5+ years leading a practice or large tower with financial accountability.<br/><br/>- Proven P&L ownership (or strong cost/margin responsibility with clear revenue ownership).<br/><br/>- Strong background in enterprise sales support / pre-sales / solutioning and service delivery leadership.<br/><br/>- Experience building teams, GTM offerings, and scaling managed services.<br/><br/><b>Technical (Hands-on background expected):</b><br/><br/>Deep understanding of:<br/><br/>- AWS/Azure/GCP architecture & operations (networking, IAM, compute, storage, security)<br/><br/>- Private cloud: VMware and/or OpenStack implementation & ops<br/><br/>- SRE principles, observability, automation, IaC, CI/CD<br/><br/>Strong foundation in:<br/><br/>- Linux, networking, virtualization, containers/Kubernetes
