One of the fast-growing technology-driven companies in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to lead its engineering team and drive the architecture, development, and scalability of its core platforms.

This role combines hands-on backend development with technical leadership , working closely with senior stakeholders and leading backend, frontend, mobile, and UI/UX engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable products.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance backend systems

Define and own backend architecture across Java/Kotlin (Spring) and Node.js services

Set technical direction and ensure engineering best practices across teams

Collaborate closely with frontend (ReactJS, VueJS) and mobile (Flutter) teams for end-to-end delivery

Identify technical debt and drive long-term system improvements
