Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable mobile-first APIs using REST/JSON or GraphQL, including authentication, authorization, and versioning
- Build and operate cloud-native backend services (e.g., AWS), integrating databases, third-party services, and monitoring/logging solutions
- Ensure high performance, low latency, data security, encryption, and scalability to support growing mobile usage and feature expansion

- Mobile-First API Development: Expertise in designing APIs optimized for mobile consumption
- Cloud-Native Backend Engineering: Strong experience developing and operating services in cloud environments
- Performance, Security & Scalability: Proven ability to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable systems

- Ability to work onsite in Chicago or Houston 1–2 days per week
